Performing complex activities for the development manufacturing processes including line layout, equipment selection, manpower requirements, recommendations for design for manufacturability and process documentation, planing, conducting and leading assignment and projects requiring considerable originality and ingenuity. Reviewing progress, evaluates results, recommends changes in procedures, acting in a lead or supervisory role to technical process engineering, quality and document control staff. The ideal candidate will possess: Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field six to eight years relevant work experience. Surface mount assembly processes; methods, and equipment, key process and quality engineering techniques, including experience writing procedures and developing standards for new processes. Extensive experience in capital equipment planning and acquisition, proficient use of quality terminology, methodologies and tools also required, including experience with ISO9002 certification requirements.
