Sr. Electronic/Electrical Design & Development Engineer

IM091891 - Senior Electronic/Electrical Design & Development Engineer - Wisconsin Excellent engineering management opportunity with a leading manufacturer of mobile construction equipment. The Senior Design & Development Engineer will lead the development and design concepts of mechanical, hydraulic and telescoping boom material handlers. Lead a design team of 3 engineers in the design of new telescoping booms, interface with manufacturing to optimize designs and manufacturing processes to obtain cost effective, durable & state of the art designs. Support product testing to meet performance & reliability specifications. Organize documentation of designs as required for manufacturing. Qualifications include a BSME/MSME or equivalent experience and 10 years experience in design of welded structures, mobile equipment, hydraulic lifts, telescoping booms or similar equipment. CAD experience required, Pro E preferred. Working knowledge of FEA and fatigue analysis required as well as project management and strong interpersonal skills.
