TEST ENGINEER

Responsible for representing multiple factories worldwide with on-site, real-time consultation to customer design team on product design for testability (DFT). This is accomplished by monitoring the customer design process through real-time design reviews using a large variety of CAD tools and software, schematics, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, face-to-face meetings, etc. Responsible for developing, communicating and tracking all DFT issues to closure and maintaining metrics. Responsible for developing cost justifications for these design changes that will enhance the company�s ability to test a given product. Also responsible for developing and/or improving equipment, processes and software used by the company to test a given customer product. The ideal candidate will have a BS in an Engineering discipline and 5+ years of previous test engineering and development experience, including DFT, in a printed circuit board assembly environment. Strong communications and customer interface capabilities are required.
