Test Technician

Must have general knowledge of test apparatus and equipment, with the ability and skills to fabricate test equipment. Assist in the design of both in circuit and functional test hardware and software utilizing HP, Genrad, Teredyne and/or PC based systems. Must be capable of programming test equipment and performing analysis of software effectiveness. Provide direction to manufacturing operations for maintenance of electronic test equipment. Evaluate operational test systems and recommend design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions or changes in system requirements. Use computer assisted engineering and software and equipment to perform test engineering tasks Must have high school diploma or equivalent, plus vocational training. Associate Degree preferred. Two to five years experience required.
