Financial Analyst � Payroll
Must be able to develop and document payroll procedures, guidelines and policies. Evaluate and document payroll processes in the North American locations and establish standards. Analyze and resolve reconciling items in the payroll balance sheet accounts. Assist with GL mapping of payroll distribution. Interact with various internal departments and outside services such as ProBusiness and ADP. Assist with payroll processes and systems integration related to mergers and acquisitions. Develop and publish monthly metrics to measure efficiency and effectiveness. Direct the processing requirements needed for timely and accurate payroll. Establish FAQ�s and responses for the Call Center. Monitor and execute internal control procedures to ensure confidentiality of records. Identify and present solutions for process improvements. Must have BS in Accounting with 3 �5 years payroll experience. ProBusiness and PeopleSoft experience a plus. Must have thorough knowledge of labor laws, payroll tax regulation and generally accepted payroll practices, strong analytical skills and must be able to think outside the box.
