Machine Vision Error Proofing Description:

USS is a provider/integrator of many machine vision error proofing systems.  We work with Banner Engineering, Matrox, PPT Vision, Cognex, LMI, and IFM Effector systems.  The sensors we use provide advanced, camera-based visual inspections at a price you'll find hard to believe. It captures images and analyzes them using one or more vision tools to generate judgment results. Our machine vision systems offer both serial or Ethernet connectivity for setup, plus flexible I/O via its pluggable terminal block that accommodates configurable inputs (NPN/PNP), configurable outputs (NPN/PNP), and allows a stored inspection to be selected.  Some of our systems set up using a remote PC; after setup, inspections are stored in the system and can be run without the need for the PC.  Many of our machine vision systems scan multiple features simultaneously and adjusts for both translational and rotational variation.  Parts moving down a production line or web are accurately inspected, sometimes without the need for fixturing.
