Design for Manufacturability Services Description:

Saline Lectronics' DFM includes a detailed PCB layout review for fabrication and a thorough inspection of the overall manufacturability of your product, including flagging any potential assembly issues.  The earlier our Engineering Team can review your circuit board assembly files, the better.  It’s ideal that we review all documentation in the design and layout phase prior to actual PCB fabrication in order to help you avoid any re-layout efforts and multiple fabrication costs.

Our Team will make recommendations for optimized PCB panelization that will not only meet your desired build quantities, but also match perfectly to our manufacturing process requirements. Due to many industries now requiring circuit board assembly products to be completely Lead Free, we can also help you make that transition from a Tin/Lead product to a Lead Free one.  Where available, we will convert Tin/Lead components to fully RoHS Compliant items that are compatible with your design. Saline Lectronics’ DFM report also includes a thorough review from our Component Engineering Team examining both long-lead time and obsolete components.
