See-Cure technology is an indicator of cure that intentionally transitions the color of the adhesive after it has cured and builds a visible safety factor into the assembly process.
SpeedMask® Masking Resins
SpeedMask® light-curable temporary masking resins offer reliable surface protection not available from traditional masking materials such as tapes, lacquers, and waxes. They are used in surface preparation and finishing operations where a barrier is needed to protect surfaces and cavities. SpeedMask masking resins are quickly applied and easily removed. They are used in the aerospace, power generation, and metal finishing industries, and in the manufacture of orthopaedic implants and medical devices.
Ultra-Red™ Fluorescing Technology
Ultra-Red™ fluorescing technology, formulated into Dymax adhesives, enhances bond-line inspection processes and product authentication. The adhesives remain clear until exposed to low-intensity UV light at which point they fluoresce bright red. This is particularly effective when bonding plastics that naturally fluoresce blue, such as PVC and PET. Ultra-Red™ technology also produces a unique spectral signature that can be used by manufacturers for product authentication.
Dymax offers specially formulated LED light-curable adhesives for use with Dymax LED UV/Visible light-curing systems. The adhesives, which range from fast to ultra-fast cure speeds in order to accommodate specific medical device, electronic, and industrial assembly needs.
BlueWave® UV/Visible Light-Curing Systems
The BlueWave® light-curing spot lamps offer the highest intensity and most user-friendly operation in the industry. The lamps feature a patented intensity adjustment that provides user control of light intensity to assist users in process validation and control. The lamps primarily emit UVA and blue visible light (300-450 nm) and are designed for light curing of adhesives, coatings, and encapsulants.
LED Light-Curing Techology
The BlueWave® LED curing systems offer many advantages over conventional spot- curing systems including no bulbs to change, cool cures, no warm-up, and constant intensity for thousands of hours. The lamps generate curing energy using high-intensity LEDs and are used for curing of various coatings, as well as adhesive bonding of polycarbonate, PVC, PET, metal, glass, and many other substrates.
