Valor Computerized Systems

We are a global provider of productivity improvement software across the printed circuit board manufacturing supply chain.

Consultant / Service Provider

Valor Computerized Systems is a world leader in the development and supply of multi-platform, object-oriented EDA/CAD/CAM  software solutions to the PCB layout design and PCB assembly and manufacturing markets. Established in 1992, Valor's superior technology has consistently contributed a range of first-in-class advancements to the industry, from data exchange to pre-production engineering and DFM analysis, information management, and much, much more. In record time, the company has taken its place as a global leader, providing tools to well over 500 PCB Manufacturing, Design and Assembly leaders which allows them to attain seamless vertical integration within the global electronics industry, with the added value of improved product quality and bottom line results.

Valor's tools focus on furnishing automated solutions for Design for Manufacturing (DFM) audits. As the speed and density of electronic products increases, DFM tools are quickly becoming the critical path for shortening time to market for new product launchings. The use of these DFM tools results in enhanced productivity, higher yields, shorter cycle times, and increased product quality.

The recent industry trend for outsourcing introduces the additional challenge of improving communication and the quality of data exchange between equipment designers, Contract Electronic Manufacturers (CEMs), and bare board manufacturers. Valor's ODB++, the advanced EDA/CAD to manufacturing CAM data exchange format is a central part of Valor's comprehensive suit of CAD/CAM tools. The success of ODB++ as an open data exchange format is evident in its rapid acceptance as the de-facto standard for the industry.

Corporate Mission

Valor is dedicated to fulfilling the professional and technical expectations and goals of its customers and the PCB electronics industry at large. Here, a team of future-focused, customer-driven, technical experts develops and drives the technology that fuels our extraordinary success. Valor currently focuses on business opportunities which integrate the PCB Design and Manufacturing industry with intelligent data exchange and new-generation CAD/CAM tools.

Valor's success in achieving its goals is evident through the recently-signed world-wide OEM agreement with Zuken, repeat business in the OEM/PCB Layout Design arena, and by Valor's selection as a "Platinum Partner" in Cadence Design Systems Connections Program. In addition, Valor has established an (OSA) program to improve upon its relationship with leading EDA/CAD design layout system suppliers such as Cadence, Mentor, Pads, and VeriBest.

Valor recently entered into a joint partnership with Orbotech, Ltd. (ORBKF) to form Frontline PCB Solutions. Each party holds 50% of Frontline, which holds sales and marketing rights for the PCB bare boards fabrication market for all CAM products from both Orbotech Ltd. and Valor. This union provides both companies the opportunity to consolidate and expand upon the products and services they provide in the field of CAM (computer aided manufacturing) software for PCB fabrication.

Our commitment to excellence, Total Quality Management, and a continuous improvement is the true source of all that Valor has become: an innovator, a visionary, a leader, and a partner to all of our customers.

World-wide coverage

Valor's operations include world-headquarters in Yavne, Israel (primarily research and development and senior management), sales and support facilities in Lake Forest, California, and Waltham, Massachusetts, and various other locations in North America, a European subsidiary located in Leuven, Belgium with sales offices throughout Europe, and corporate offices in Japan and Hong Kong, as well.
