Description

The rich function block library includes several types of control loops, including advanced control and auto- tune capabilities as well as integration for ABB drives and motors. The controller communication by means of Ethernet includes on board RNRP redundancy along with a broad set of communication modules to connect to third-party devices. A superior redundancy concept allows for fast switch-over times and topologically separated CPU-modules. Several CPU modules are available, varying in terms of processing power, memory size and redundancy support. Priority controlled, time-based tasks allow the highest stability in even complex control tasks

6. Locate and backup any database files and DcsIOManager.ini used by DCSIO Manager or DcsOpcManager in the ..Program FilesBailey DCS Simulator.. directory. These files, which contain your DCS IO configuration, will be lost at installation of a new version. 7. Locate and backup any batch90.INI files in the ..Program FilesBailey DCS Simulator.. directory. This files, which contain your Batch90 configuration, will be lost at installation of a new version. 8. Uninstall the simulator using Control Panel Add/Remove Programs function.  There is no need to select deletion of all files 9. In the new Bailey DCS Simulator download locate and execute the SETUP.EXE file.  The only installation option is the directory to install the files, which should be at the same location as the previous version. 10. Restore the default.INI file that you previously backed up to the ..Program FilesBailey DCS Simulator.. directory. 11. The new simulator version is now installed are ready for use. 12. On the Simulator Computer, locate the Bailey DCS Simulator in the list of services installed (via Control Panel > Services list).  Once you locate the Bailey DCS Simulator then  START the Simulator (if you wish) and set the Simulator to be started AUTOMATICALLY at system boot (if you wish).
