I agree with 3DAOI.com, in that you should be looking at Cyberoptics. They have a great product if you MUST have both of these processes in line, and if you must have 3D AOI. If you are willing to go offline, and want to get both AOI and SPI in one

1.Yes but you want specific SPI & AOI machines. Same manufacturer can provide both. 2. Yes but not as well as an SPI machine. 3. Don't understand question. 4-7 You should do your research, or hire someone with the expertise you require.

Sorry for such a generic response, but you should consider SPI if you are not happy with the results of your printer. That is probably measured by defects at the AOI. SPI machines are quite expensive. I don't see the point of them when you can just b

You misunderstand me. I won't use the AOI as SPI. If the machine can handle solder paste data I will turn off this algorithms. So AOI have to be only AOI without any SPI data check.

Hi, I am actually analysing several AOIs for my company. I am evaluating an Omron one, Parmi one and Pemptron one as well. I want the AOI machine works as SPI as well. The only one that has this option (AOI 3D + SPI), is Pemptron one. Do you have

Is there any stardarts to help us what tolerance values (max or min. height, weight, volume etc) should we use while programming AOI and SPI.

I am thinking on getting an SPI and AOI my SMT lines. Sadly we run out of space that is why I have to find some small machine. BF-FRONTIERII is good for us because 2D inspection is clearly enough for our customers. In sales representative docs SPI mo
