Anyone with Shindenshi (Qualectron) AOI machine?

Electronics Forum | Fri Oct 13 15:03:49 EDT 2006 | stepheniii

When I started using our ESV-304 the CAD converter would crash if there was a part already in the library with an alias. With the two cameras we can only put parts from one camera in the library. And our current library would be totally useless with

IP3 placement for BGA / MicroBGA

Electronics Forum | Tue Mar 17 16:09:25 EDT 2009 | gregf912

For the IP3 to reliably place BGAs the machine needs the 4800 vision card and type 12 camera. From the problems i see here you must have the 4400 card and a type 8 or 9 camera. It would also seem that a calibration is in order. I have calibrated and

IP3 placement for BGA / MicroBGA

Electronics Forum | Tue Mar 17 11:13:26 EDT 2009 | tegel

Hi, Now it was a couple of years since I did this but it's possible. I have been down to 0.5 mm pitch. If you have a vision system with vision type 230 I would suggest that you use that. One other trick is to only specify 50 % of the ball diameter.

Possibility of a cheaper pick and place machine design?
