I am looking for a consistent method of applying no clean liquid flux to solder pads. My main concern is if I use a standard air-over type dispenser mounted to an automated arm that the liquid flux will make a mess and not be consistent. I'm not to

well if the issues are consistently in the same kinds of places, that at least makes it more likely a human wil spot them reasonably consistently. If they are not consistent and easily documented, people will not spot them and the time spent trying t

For 20 mil pitch applications, two important properties to evaluate are (1) dispensing volume consistency, (2) slump performance. As to the dispensing equipment, positive displacement will be the better choice for better consistency. Nozzle size is v

I'm getting a poor glue application in the smt process I have a Gemini machine and I need an efficient method to analyse the consistence and inspect the process by the operator.

Ahhhh. If it only screwed up "consistantly" it would be alot easier!! yeah, bad board or overheat in the card rack (filters), kinked wire? good luck, my guess is it'll get more consistant as days pass

Important mainly for consistency of pressure across the entire board length... But also quite abusive of stencils to use longer blades. Especially since (most people) when using the longer blades will bump the pressure up even higher to minimise th

Does the bridge/short defect is consistent? If bridge is not consistent then QA guy and customer will think it is a defect even its adjacent pads are electronic connected.

Calebc, My opioin is different. If the bridge is consistent then we can treat it as the design made it. If the bridge is not consistent then QA and Process engineer shall take a look since the process is not stable.

That is true; it is not a fast process but it is selective and uses minimal material. Also true that the application consistency has to be checked and sometimes minor adjustments made at the beginning of a run. We have a program that checks for a con
