Also, tried swapping the Servo card. X7 which is the Rising table servo motor card, swapped with X8,9,10 which are all the same and same result.

If there are no errors, check main relay contacts, it is common that one contact is not closing.

The so-called "drivers" are used to control each servo - control boards at the back of the machine. There are several (8?). If one is "worn out" and has no strength to move the servo, maybe this is where the error comes from? They can be interchanged

Hi Jeff, both units have DC servos, and both appear to have the same vision system, although #2 has an additional upward-looking camera with a high magnification lens for die mounting. If I could make use of your hex files, that would be great sinc

Hi Jeff, no problem, I'll just pop them out and make copies. I'm betting the upgrade will take care of these silly problems. The machine with the "newer" firmware just goes and goes without any issues other than replacing that R-axis servo a while

wycliffe (and I suppose anyone with a vision system): You may save yourself some considerable headache with your CSM84VZ if you check one simple thing before you get too far: Make sure the long skinny macro lens on the head camera is screwed in snu
