haven't tried the MINT as it won't let me get that far !! Swapping the Eproms with card 1 and changing the identifier will let it get to the 'Press SYSTEM key' part of the startup though, then it fails on card 1 instead of 0 so I'll give that a try i

It came out that 24V relay switch in the power supply part was simply broken. When we fixed that - stop button was pressed, but we came to this conclusion eventually!

I do not think it's your power supply, its probably the monitor, I spent two days nearly four years ago on this problem, the 265's power supply can be dropped out by a problem with any of the voltages, they are not isolated. Try using a known good c
