Maybe much more detailed than you have available but do you know the exact prepreg number you were using in the failed units? That is one of the only similarities I have been able to isolate on my parts - I am curious if it may be the same. Thanks,

I'm not sure what it was. It would be tough information to get as it's an old issue and sore spot with our supplier. I'm not even sure if we use them anymore for these boards.

Hi Wayne, I am just curious what material is being called out. Are you just specing FR4 or are you calling out a particular IPC 4101 / Some recommended laminates designed for Lead free assembly are: Isola 370HR Nelco 4000-11 or 4000-29 Iteq IT15

I doubt it's the board house. Check the Laminate being used. When you find out that the laminate is IS410, search the forum for time and location for the next "RoHs Compliant PCB Delamination Support Group" Some of the locations are hard to find but
