Hi, I have never been able to find an acceptable dispense process for dispensing small dots of solder paste. I currently have an auger screw automated dispense system and can not accomplish 0.010" dot sizes. In addition, stencil printing is much m

You also need to consider the total metal load in your dispensable paste. You'll need a slightly higher flux content and less metal, say around 87% total metal, in a 4 or 5 mesh size. We had to have some special mixes made in order to do fine pitch

I am running a cemelot 5000 and I am having trouble with the solder clogging up the needle. When the solder is removed it almost appears if it has reflowed. I am using a 22 guage needle, and the problem occurs with both type 3 and type 5 solder pas

Quad made an auger style dispenser that mounted to the pick and place head. A long time ago, in CM far far away, I tried to add one to a Quad 4C but could never get the damn thing to work. The folks at PPM http://www.goppm.com/ might be able to he

For components with the large pads, you can also use secondary soldering dispensing. Some printers like DEK have an option to mount a syringe with an auger valve to do dispensing after the printing step process. Obviously will not work if you have to

Replacing Screen Printer with a dispensing system? If you have large complex PCBs you will lose a bit of time to say the least. That being said, we have had great success with an I&J Fisnar 'bot with positive displacement (auger) valve for dispensi

Hege, can you share more info on the formulation you ended up using for the micro dot dispensing? I'm trying to find the proper metal load and viscosity for the auger valve dispenser that we are developing and it looks like the regular low viscosity

If you find the correct type of adhesive/needle size then dispensing certainly is no problem. With a footed needle a very repeatable process too. Much more flexible than stencil printing and no need to mess around with stencil cleaning. But with auge

We use Humiseal T300 latex mask for over 17 years. No smell. That said we have been dispensing several ways. One is a Asymtek 718 in-line machine using a 1 gallon pressure pot and their DV7000 valve. It is an auger valve that has been highly successf
