Anyone Can tell me how they dispose of thier component leads that contain lead, from their Contact Systems, or amistar equipment. I don't think we can just throw them in the garbage

We just put them in with the dross from our wave machine. It all ends up @ a metal recycler anyway. DG

I used to collect mine in a 50 gal drum and take them to the scrap dealer. If he classifies it as brass or copper you can get a good return. Most leads are nickel and tin plated brass. Most dealers stick a magnet on it and tell you its not worth much
