Hello all, As everyone knows,for all kinds of reasons we must change the reflow oven from 8 zone to 12 zone,but how?perhaps the easiest way is to buy a new 12 zone oven...however what will you do then with the old 8 zone oven,scrape? is there anyone

Whether could we add some heating or cooling modules to the 8 zone reflow oven and convert the 8 zone to 12 zone or more?I 've never heard of anybody successfully done this.I think, this way, we could get more cost down.What's your opinions? Thanks®a

I've never heard of anyone doing this. Even if it were possible I can't believe it would be cost effective. If you absolutely need a 12 zone oven your best bet is to try and be a used/refurbed one if you can't afford a new one.

I would highly recomend an 8 zones (top and bottom heaters) oven as it has better flexibility than 7 zones. However, I would also would like to check for the heated length. Some oven has many zones but the heated length is small. Arman
