WE ARE TRING TO LOCATE A 9 SEGMENT, INFRARED EMITTER ARRAY & 9 SEGMENT INFRARED DETECTOR ARRAY. THEY ARE USED IN A COIN READER TO MEASURE THE DIAMETER OF THE COIN. THE SIZE OF THE ARRAYS ARE, 1.6 BY .297 INCHES. ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED.

We use component BFU730LX and we have one problem. After reflow transistor base or collector lands are not soldered. Maybe someone have similar problems with this component? We tryed to change stencil pads (smaller , bigger) but problem is the same.

You did not attach anything here. Transistor can be connected in different circuit(like common Emitter) and will use Collector current as output. Also Ic is about the same as Ie in value, as base current Ib is insignificant usually in uA.
