TMC, Are you interested in this approach because you only have a flat belt conveyor and want to keep the components from being moved by the belt on the second pass? If so, you might try adding some stiffeners to the board edges to stand the board o

Hi Jimmy, We use flat belt exit conveyors. They are set-up to collect the boards and set off an alarm when the belt is full. This allows the boards to come out, but you don't have to pay someone to stand there and catch each board. Also eliminate

Hi Gurus, Looking for alternatives to line makeup after reflow oven. Currently, I have a continuous on flat belt conveying out of my reflow oven straight to an EOL bench. The operator manually picks up the board off the belt (there is a roller at t

Warpage factors can cause: 1. Boards can not transfer down conveyor belts or wedge at transitions. 2. May not enter into machinery due to interferences (like board clamps) 3. May fall off conveyor chain in furnace. Especially true of thin (PCMCI

Is there anything stopping you from replacing the flat belt solution to a continuous running steel roller chain conveyor? - From there (depending upon board temperature) you should be able to buffer your boards in a vertical buffer station if neede

Is this a single sided or double sided board? We run the first side flat on the oven belt this keeps the board flat for the second side assembly. If the board warps during the second reflow process we will make a support fixture to carry the PCBA

We have 1/2 dozens 0.031 pcbs that bow after going through the oven. We are looking for a solution to this problem to prevent bowing of the pcbs. As a result of the bowing, the pcbs, on occasion get caught in the oven, and more often have transfer
