oh i did not enter the pcb thickness. it is set to 0.0 I thought this was only to be changed for non standard pcb thicknesses. So, with the pcb being 1.6mm this is probably the answer. I guess this means I'm dumb..

Guys I'm looking for a software on the web that I can use to do void measurements. I have x-ray images but unfortunately no software in the machine to be able to calculate void size. Thanks in advance for your support.

We have similar machines and they will give errors like this if the adjustable sensor on the unload end is over the fixed or movable rail.

I have 408.01 and I believe that might be the latest version supported. What makes you think that the setting doesn't work? You can measure it with a scale, if you want to check it for real.

Rub the fid with an erasure and it might have better contrast. Minimize the search box area if your software allows.

I did "scuff" the fid so it wouldn't be so shiny. Zero affect on contrast. We ended up moving it to another printer. We have 3 essentially the same printers, two completely washed the image out, the third sees it perfect as if it were black and wh
