GSM Belt Transfer

Electronics Forum | Fri Dec 08 13:25:18 EST 2006 | SWAG

We have a heavy carrier that results in belts spinning out when our GSM attempts to transfer it to the centernest. Can the belt transfer speed be slowed down on GSM? How???

Flux drop in lead free process

Electronics Forum | Sat Dec 09 16:54:25 EST 2006 | billwestiet

With high volume production, this can happen. The flux is vaporizing in the heating zones, and is condensing in the cooling zones. Depending on the machine, cooling can act differently on different machines. Less cooling may reduce this problem.

Lead free vitronics profile

Its a vitronics, with a little proper maintenance it'll go on forever! If it's a 610, you should have 6heating en 1 cooling zone btw.

Streaking at Screen Printing

Electronics Forum | Tue Dec 19 17:17:14 EST 2006 | James

Let me get this straight. You have large apertures for some reason? If this is the case you could try making the aperture like a screen, many small apertures to support the blade, rather than one large aperture that allows the blade to deflect.

The strip tape tray feeder is not practical if you have a lot of different strips. What about using splicing? Take some empty tape and splice it on to the front of your strips?

Grant, Why don't you try a water-base flux which is No-clean, VOC-free also? I have tried the 270WR flux from AIM with good results even on lead-free process. My $0.02, George

Electronics Forum | Sat Dec 16 18:27:52 EST 2006 | bvdb

We've been using the MCS-16F computer with a Fuji IP-1 for about 9 months and wonder what the "Hard Disk Maintenance" feature does. We have no documentation on this feature. Best Regards, Bert
