I use Easeus, and Recuva. Other tools won't work when you have a few faulty sectors. I wont name names , as I dont want dirty letters sent to me. sarason

the problem is not in faulty sectors but while power failed wrong info was overwritten in the windows registry, so there are no bad sectors just garbage written in the registry
