Wave and Reflow Profiler

Electronics Forum | Wed Feb 20 08:17:32 EST 2008 | ck_the_flip

Steve, KIC does. The new KIC2000 has built in dwell time sensors. You can buy KIC's wavesurfer option (like MOLE's waverider), or you can engineer a custom pallet for 1/3 the price. I made a custom pallet and took advantage of the KIC's automatic

Re: conformal coatings and flux compatability

We currently use both Humiseal and Conap with OA flux. The flux MUST me cleaned off the assembly before coating. I know that Humiseal has coatings that are compatiable with no cleans as long as your processes are defined properly before your coating

Conformal coating mask dots and halos

Electronics Forum | Thu Feb 25 07:37:42 EST 2010 | pcbrown

We are using Humiseal 1B31 and polyester dots for masking. We are spraying this in a Binks sprayer mixed at almost 1:1 with 521 thinner. Whe are seeing the coating creating thin halos around the poly dots as if the dots are "rejecting" the coating. T

PCB Thickness and Score Depth Standards?

Electronics Forum | Fri May 24 17:35:59 EDT 2024 | dontfeedphils

A couple questions for everyone: 1) is there an industry spec that calls out v-score depth requirements? If so, what spec is that and what are the values? I've always heard 1/3 of the depth of the PCB on each side, but I'm not sure if that's a rul

agree, if you have fine pitch components the placement rate will be much less of what you see in the catalogues as they quote 0805 components placemen rate. I have one year log for one of our machine which is quoted to be 6400 cps and for one year a

Gyver: Lemme take a wack [if youll excuse the expression, given direction of the later discussion] at your questions. Q1. Will the baking of BGA or PCB cause more oxidation before the SMT process? A1. It certainly will not cause less oxidation,
