Try adjusting your vision file. There are a couple of different ways you can vision this part. Why is the nozzle cut down. We place electro. caps also and use a standard nozzle. Are you using a deep pocket feeder. MrMaint

Hallo Yes we are using deep pocket feeder for capasitors. We cut the nozzle because there was problem with hitting the component on the nozzle with just placed. Greg

The difference between TMC Flex and TMD Flex is about the ability to feed component tape with deep pockets for larger components. The TMC have a rather low passage for embossed component tape. While TMC Flex is limited to a maximum tape depth of 7,5

The feeders on the Juki 750 machines have about 0.060" slop in the x-axis. Which allows the machine to try to pick up the part on the edge, inverting it. With the auto-correct feature enabled, the machine locates the feeder pocket based on its pick

Cheers Greg, It's unusual to have such direct access to manufacturers & their opinions. I'll tell you what really does get us, and splicing doesn't work well on these occaisions - big SMD connectors, requiring deep pocket feeders. You only get m

Hi Rob, Thanks for the response. I am not aware of any feeder crashes. We aren't real sure where the scratches came from. They do not appear to be too deep but are at the edge of acceptable. We are still up and running. I don't think I am comfortabl

Thanks for the reply Rob, This we already do. The machine will pick from the most efficient available feeder (assuming multiples of the same part number)...so when you remove the primary it will seemlessly move to the next available. When you re-in

Yeah my issue with the CLM945 type single slot feeders used for parts over 6mm is they index forwards using a tiny servo attached to some gears that pull on the cover tape. A system that begs to fail, the tape can stretch, the gears can start grabbin

I do not have machine experience, but I think vacuum too early would be a more likely cause of chips leaping to a nozzle. Juki nozzles are made of hardened stainless and could be slightly magnetic, but the end is relatively small and would not have t

John, you mention yourself that this problem is component related. Is the 1206 presented out of a plastic tape?. The tape could be more slippery than the paper tape and the cover tape may pull the tape out of position. I am not familiar with the Juk
