Anyone using Kester 959 flux on Spray fluxer ? I noticed a black coating on filter element which is installed in supply line ( inside flux tank). The filter element is immersed into flux tank. It is turning blackish due to deposit of flux rosin ?? T

We used no clean flux and experience the little filter in the flux tank going black. How long until it goes black? Could the pump be damaged, or you may have to start changing the filter regularily

Ashok, a few suggestions.......steel/brass fittings anywhere in the flux line can cause that problem; also, check the transfer tank (if used) for cleanliness . There may be a problem with the pump, if you are using Sono-Tek's SonoFlux system then p
