Looking for feedback from anyone who uses the wireless KIC2000 profiler. We just got one and so far it works pretty well. We've been able to lower thermal settings on every profile looked at. The optimizing capability is slick but it sucks up 9V DC

Todd, Slim KIC 2000 would be my choice. We traded our Gold M.O.L.E for it and are very happy with the performance. The optimization program is great. No more guessing. The only thing I could gripe about is that it sucks up 9V batteries pretty quic

Thermal Profilers

Electronics Forum | Tue Feb 21 08:18:27 EST 2006 | Rob

Hi, Our SlimKIC 2000 uses a standard 9V PP3 battery, so as long as you're not adverse to parting with around a $1 it's no problem. Cheers, Rob.

I just got in my SlimKIC 2000 unit and ran my first profile a few minutes ago. The RF feature is pretty nice on this model. KIC software is very good and as mentioned above it uses regular 9V batteries.

Wave and Reflow Profiler

Electronics Forum | Tue Feb 19 07:44:41 EST 2008 | tonyamenson

So just to clarify.... If i bought a KIC 2000 I could run that one unit over both my waves and through both my ovens (leaded and lead-free)? Or would I need additional equipment to use it on the wave?
