Leave it to the Eurolanders to come-up with a goofy, confusing name for something simple. Stepped stencils are chemical etched or laser cut. IPC-7525 provides guidelines on designing stepped stencils. Look here http://www.ipc.org/TOC/IPC-7525.pdf

I figure if you need the rest, you don't need these. These strips are from some laser cutting tool fabricator. They give them to their customers [laser cut stencil fabricators] so the customer can do a good job. Yall have a nice day now, y'hear?

Try .005 or even .004 thick laser cut electopolish stencil and reduce grain size of paste. Go with 400 or 25 in the case of AIM. We had a similar prob.
