Help CSM84 mechanical alignment

Electronics Forum | Fri May 04 02:32:10 EDT 2007 | jmelson

Thanks! Well, the procedure in the book says to first calibrate the mech aligner with the beam sensor, but that exceeds the X travel. I guess you can just eyeball it off the nozzles and then use trial and error. While poking around on the machine

Help CSM84 mechanical alignment

Electronics Forum | Thu May 03 22:51:14 EDT 2007 | jmelson

I am still learning the CSM84, but have gotten one board programmed and working. Now, I'm doing the next board, and need to use the mechanical alignment unit for a 22 x 22 mm TQFP. This chip is too large to clear the jaws on any head. Can the CSM h

Panasonic NPM feeder cart

Electronics Forum | Mon Nov 25 20:52:47 EST 2019 | cbeneat

Are the arms pulling the cart all the way in? Possible part blocking the limit switch. does the cord have power? If I remember correctly, we once had to adjust the mechanical stops on one of ours so it would make the switch.

sounds like its probably a timming belt. stock drive products is the place i go for robotics mechanical stuff, They likely have a sutable belt if you can get a good mesurement on everything(mesure the pully teeth, the belt may be streched). https://

Quad IV-c feeder error

One of my 8mm feeders is blinking the red led after the pick-up. With both buttons the motor works as expected (forward/backward), but after the nozzle pick-up the motor moves forward and then the red led blinks. pressing the buttons the green led l

does anyone know about JUKI electric feeder and machinery feeder difference

Electronics Forum | Tue Jul 19 12:36:03 EDT 2016 | jbuckley

My company uses both Juki electric and mechanical feeders. Yes, electric feeders are much more efficient than mechanical as far as pick speed and general feed speed. However, if a reel runs out, it usually takes our operators under a minute to change

A 200% + increase in load time certainly erases > any thoughts of efficiency in my mind. We have tried the Visker Electric feeders out (Yamaha & Juki)and they are nice and smooth, with a faster recovery rate, also adjustable pitch. However, with

Electronics Forum | Thu Jul 28 10:42:25 EDT 2016 | mnorthey

We use the Juki electric feeders, I have not seen the mechanical ones. The reel holder is the only problem we have had with these feeders(cheaply built). That said our operators are trained to change a feeder in less than one minute, (originally it w

My company uses primarily mechanical; electric are actually relatively new to us. I do agree that the reel holder is cheaply made, luckily we haven't had one break yet. Because of the longer load time for our operators, we do have feeders prepared fo

Mechanical feeders vs Electronic Feeders

Electronics Forum | Thu Jul 16 15:24:14 EDT 2020 | noTIME

I am trying to understand why most manufacturers don't offer mechanical feeders anymore? I find them easier to use, easier to maintain/fix. Most importantly they are A LOT cheaper! Electronic feeders are very expensive especially when you need 100
