There is no real reason why you shouldn�t use your current paste. Paste for printing usually is a coarser mesh than paste for dispensing. Dispensing paste is more expensive, because of the mesh and the packaging, but that doesn�t matter now. Compa

You also need to consider the total metal load in your dispensable paste. You'll need a slightly higher flux content and less metal, say around 87% total metal, in a 4 or 5 mesh size. We had to have some special mixes made in order to do fine pitch

Mike, The dispensable solder paste is ordered separately from the printed paste because it has a higher flux content. I would not feel comfortable mixing liquid flux into the printable paste. Ask your paste vendor if they have a dispensable version.
