Definitely agree with JMW, most machines you find will already have the upward looking camera unless it was the first (or second) head in a multi-head system. I would not look at a C-series without the upward looking camera

The old YV-112 equates to the old Philips Comet, which had 16 heads. It could only go down to 0603 imperial though. Here it is in it's early 90's glory: https://tools.adoptsmt.com/equipment/?id=14777 Do I think the YSM40R will hit 200K per hour? p

Here's what I found online, 602 Placement accuracy ±40µm/chip (Cpk1) If you need the flexibility to switch from ultrahigh-speed placement to multi-functionality on site, the CM402 high-speed interchangeable platform, modular placement machine is the

Darby, I'm not completely sure I understand. Juki machines have what is referred to as a multi-head. The offsets between the heads are the same as the spacing between 8mm feeders. So the (6) heads all come down at once and "gang pick" from 6 8mm fee

We have inline reworkers, so this time has been factored in. We currently use Siemens S25/20 machines with M1 systems. The placement machines run a little slower than the AOI at times so there is time to perform review, most of the time. It's not

Machine design plays a major factor in actual placement rate vs. the published tact time max speed. For example, random access horizontal turret head machines can vary greatly depending on nr. of different components and size ranges, while the dual g

I did see the Amistar at NEPCON Texas and it appears to be a fine machine. The multi-heads and vision-on-the-fly is nice. Feeder capacity seems to be a concern, though. Ibelieve it holds 120 8mm feeders and if you purchase a tray sequencer, it takes

My favorite kind of calibration is where the machine learns what it did incorrectly. Then fixes itself! However, there are many types of machines that rely on human feedback as to the results of what it did. nozzle calibrations involve many factors

A faster printer..... at less than 14 seconds? I don't think you'll find one. Easier and cheaper to multi-up the board. Another idea is to print a head of time and use magazines to store boards. Most adhesives have huge board life times. An in

We have a MY12 with the Hydra head, its a great machine for us. We had a MultiTroniKs before. The MYDATA is easy to program, easy to use, is very accurate, is easy to change from job to job. In the 18 months we have had the machine the only proble
