MYDATA MY9E: Hydra's pipe can't stop the vacuum during assembly. The problem ocurre just in only one pipe, the number 5. The tool picks components but doesn't drop it. Can the problem be in the unit vacuum?

Sounds to me that the issue may be with vacuum and part of it, after the segment is put there's a little measure of air that pushes the segment far from the spout in MYDATA we consider it a kiss in my office, have you watch that the air that "puffs"

1) Swapped it out a few weeks ago to attempt to combat the problem ... Great minds eh? 2) I'll try changing the position setting to see if my yields improve. 3) Ahh yes, in fact, I have verified that our vacuum levels are low (range ~130). The

You can enter the service program for the MyData, can't remember exactly how, you have to exit out of tpsys to the command prompt and type service or something along those lines. Then you can check the raw numbers for vacuum and force on the Midas h

Mr Tech, No steaks for you yet. I'm going to run some extensive tests on the centering system, but I have identified problems with the vacuum system as well. Thanks!

Never did the Linescan upgrade. Incidentally I recently needed to rebuild a vacuum pump. Pump rebuild kit consist of a coupling a couple rubber mounts and the membranes. Cost 495.00

Check the vacuum tube on the Zfi head. Make sure the ty-rap isn't interfering. Then check the ribbon cables.

Thanks, have checked the vacuum tube and ribbon cables. They seem to look ok. Theta motor seems to be woking. I'm leaning towards the theta encoder going wanky. Is that possible?

Have you performed the maintenance? It might need grease, or there might be excess old grease, that's putting more friction on the Hydra Z. Check if there might be interference from the vacuum tubes or wires.

Hey Sr, I agree that 130 is enough to pull a tiny little 0402, but I think that your forgetting response time. The machine has a small reservoir built in the system that keeps some moderate standing vacuum, however, when a part is picked, there
