If you are not getting repeatable transducer readings then some possiblities are : 1. Transducer is bad 2. Motor is bad 3. Y power booster Also, I can't remember if the Y motor has a flex coupling on it or not. If it does, check that out. Also, w

We have a MyData TP-9-2 with a in line Y wagon. It is a long screw and the vintage is 1994. The Y wagon vibrates at about 24 micrometers at about 25 hertz. Burnin reviels zero encoder pulse errors. Hystersis test indicates a Y axis Y wise varance of

We grease acording to PM schedule. The cable is very old about 5 years. We run 2 shifts. The transducer program and burnin test show the varance that we are seeing phisically so I can rule out the transducer. The motor may be the cause as it is of 19

Hi, Hans, I would have suggested swapping the MOT card out to see if that fixes the issue (or, changing the MOT card with another one to isolate the card), but, it sounds like you've already done that. I'm surprised that MyData would point you towa

Dear Rob, Thank you for your quick response! There were Z locks on the Midas head area, 2 little solenoids like you mentioned. Previously I had the first error code (F-AXIS-C/9) and after fiddling around, randomly manual unlock the Z locks it came

Hey All. I figured it out. It turns out that the problem was simply a loose coupler on the x wagon motor transducer. I had only checked one screw in the past but the other screw was apparently loose as well.

I'm assuming it's your x wagon tranducers that are out of synch. So the first place to start is look at your couplings on both x motors and make sure one of them isn't broken or starting to break. After that i would try swapping out your x board with

Thanks! I just needed a response like that. I will do all that, and if it's still an issue, I'll change the x wagon encoder right? There are three encoders on the x wagon though? The white one on the x carriage, the white one on the x belt drive mo
