Our S-2000 pick & place machine has head 2 not picking up any nozzle & displays error code 8342(nozzle check error). In ANC setting, head 1 pick/put ok but not head 2; when "MANUAL" box is checked, clicking PICK/PUT then both head 1 & 2's status disp

Fiducial recognition using laser

Yup. It was definitely checking the fiducials as well as the block skip marks and it used to work pretty well. What it did was started at the center of where the fiducial should be and scanned left. When it found a change in contrast it scanned righ

If standard nozzles are not able to handle a component perfectly, you can always get a customized nozzle made from the datasheet. Let me know if you need help. You can write to me at vinit@prosem.in

Also Jan, Don't you have to send your components through a filter program when transfering from a 4796 to a 4791 or vice versa. I know you have to do this when transfering a 4790 program to a 4791 because the speed data does not transfer correctly. I

What is the best way to introduce a choke like from a drawing? Emerald often misunderstands the number of pins - pads have an irregular shape. Also with the lifting is a problem - for the nozzle 63 is too heavy and rotates when moving, the nozzle 64

Zevatech 740 RH Head - issues with rotation of component during laser recognition

Electronics Forum | Thu Mar 15 18:15:28 EDT 2018 | maustin

The 740 has been a great machine for us. We've been able to reliably load components as small as 0603 (we've not tried 0402, but I believe with a special nozzle adaptor, you can get it to work) and place a 7x7 56 pin QFN with 0.4mm pin pitch with hi

What kind of errors are you getting. make sure that you have the right size fid's and the color is correct in the program. This is the main problem that I run into and it usually corrects the problem. Make sure that it is looking in the right X and Y

CP6-4000 nozzle centering errors?

Electronics Forum | Fri May 30 09:50:04 EDT 2008 | jdengler

Another sticky issue is that if you use after market nozzles especially mixed in with Fuji nozzles the Anti-Marking Illumination Disks can be different enough that the vision system will reject nozzles. Jerry
