Hello, its simple the Panasonic tape is encoded, the non original splice tape you try to replace is not coded hence error on feeder sensor. we offer Panasonic replacement splice tape, for a sample please contact the office, hope this helps Robi SmtXt

You have to make sure the tape is covering the holes, this is where the sensor reads the tape.

i guess you have already checked this by now, but is your line sensor(thickness)operating correctly. This could account for nozzle breakage on placement

Check your limit and origin sensors for that axis first. If they are OK then change the motor. If that doesn't fix it you have a wiring problem or NC Card problem.
