Correct....if the feeders you purchased have 7" pans then they will work fine on a CP-6 or CP-7. If the pans are 13" and they are truly CP-6 feeders, they won't work on a CP-7. If you need to change out your pans I can help. I have a bunch of 13"

We've used glass (pyrex, corningware) bread pans in the past, not filling them much over 1" deep. It takes a while but leaves solder ingots sized well to drop back in. Have not tried lead free yet, the higher temp could be an issue using same ty

We've done the same as what Woodsmt has suggested. Bread pans and a ladle. Slow going but safe. We did not have to add anything to the pans to prevent sticking. Woodsmt, did you have to worry about the pot heaters over heating while draining?
