Hello Doug, thank you for the additional commentary, it has reminded me of another reflow recommendation that I'd like to make in general for readers. It's not specific to O2/N2 in ovens but in the method for creating and managing profiles for numero

We use Quad IICs, and IVCs and love them. They can be expensive to fix, but they are pretty reliable. I think PPM is releasing Windows software for their rebuilt machines, although I think it was going to be exensive. Maybe they give it away with

If you go with a Quad from PPM, I believe that they've developed a windows interface for the machine. They also have a couple of old Quad people working there for continued support. --I receive no benedits from PPM, but I am a happy customer-- We

I am looking at buying a pick and place machine to assemble the circuit boards we make. Most of the boards are small (2 to 10 square inches), most are 2 sided, and have maybe 20-50 parts per side. I use mostly 0805/0603 chips, SOT-23, SOD-123, SOIC

With AOI it really depends on what you are testing. Not only what criteria, but what different types of components. We run a high volume low mix application for automotive checking for presense, positional accuracy, and all solder joints. We curre

..and the choir is humming in 5 part harmonies. Personnally, I never gave much truck to Cpk stuff. Seems to be a high falutin way of showing the lowerlings that academics can manipulate numbers. Dazzle 'em with brilliance or baffle 'em with bull puke

If the solder in the pot is to be replaced, the cost is very high. Is there any methods that could control the lead content to be low 1000ppm? Any methods what if the content is exceeded 1000ppm?
