SMT Process FMEA

We are developing a SMT Process FMEA as part of a "Green Belt/Six Sigma" project. We have searched the web and not found anything that is specifically helpful. Does anyone have a guideline or similar document they might be willing to share?

Your customer knows what's correct, but we'd expect a unique FMEA for each process used in the quality plan and control plans to mitigate issues identified in the FMEA.

P.J., If you are just looking for info try the link below. If you want someone to help you implement the process inside your company you need to get a consultant. You might be able to find a couple hundred on this sight???? That's just my opinion,

davef is right, what we have done is that for every step in the flowchart we made a separate FMEA. Not only machine and process steps but also warehouse and product handling, identification, etc.

KaHrpr is correct. All of the extra 'redundancy' is waste in your process and will work against any goal of being lean. I would suggest establishing a team of individuals to do a C.I. project and conduct a PFMEA and try to determine where any holes
