If I read this correctly you have two identical ovens that were setup the same ie zone temps, fan speeds etc... when you ran the same board through each of them one showed a lower board temp. Is this correct? Is the temp of the board 7 deg. lower t

Hi, Yes, I was talking about the oven, but then thinking about Soltec in general and about things the software really should be able to do, got me worked up on the Deltawave. I guess the frustration with it's software is not far from the surface.

I was wondering if anyone has ever considered measuring the belt speed of their reflow ovens using some type of hand-held, preferably non-contact device? If so, could you recommend a manufacturer of such a device? We are considering measuring our act

Can anybody suggest how can I achieve good solderability in convectional reflow oven If I reduced Convection Air Speed 80%. The whole purpose is to reduce 0402 LED tilting in the convectional reflow and the PCB having QFN with 60 to 120 sec soak, 30

We currently have 2 HVA 102 conceptronic reflow ovens. I ran 2 profiles on the 2 seperate machines. One of the oven ran 7 degrees lower than the other oven. I checked all the fans and they seem to running fine. I get no warning on the monitors.

I also am a huge fan of Universal Machines for their reliability, capability and dependability. Very highly engineered machines. Only machine I hear better than them is Fuji. Apple and Motorola used Universal's extensively so it tells you how re
