Even when you run a board several times, the machine may not make the same travel path every time. This in itself does not create a problem, but the vacuum on the nozzles could be different, dependent on the configuration of components on the heads.

I'm attempting to pick and place a small rivet onto our PCB. The rivet should be attached via reflow solder. The rivet will be used to create a sandwich, holding together a frame and additional circuit board in a package. This part is intended onl

we have both flexjet and flexhead, we also have the new inline 7 head on some genesis dual beams we just put into operation. If you have a choice in flexjet heads take the inline 7. The flexjet 09 head is very labor intensive, stay away from them, e

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned the single most important factor. p.m.'s. If the nozzles are getting dirty and clogged it's not going to do a great job of picking parts up. Don't think in terms of variation. It's there it's unavoidable and undet

I am having some problems getting the IP1 to place a SSOP28 package, pitch 0.65mm lead width 0.3mm. I am selecting computer vision 012 (tried 011) and vision type 100. EL data was put in looking at the datasheet and also measuring the device. Have tri

that's a pretty cool idea, I like some thinking 'outside the box '! 1. I don't think picking it up and placing it will be much of a problem. once the rivet is placed it will be held in place by the paste. However, you would need to make a tray that

The nozzles are brand new too (got them friday). 08MPF (0.08") is their part number. I tried using the air kiss feature in the setup mode and found that it blew the nozzle off the nozzle holder, not sure if this is ment to happen in this mode, but t
