I have previously experienced dispensing glue dots using a camalot system. This was used to dispense dots for a variety of components, as the SMT was applied post through hole and then wave soldered. No paste was used in the process. The other benefi

Unless you've got an extremely agressive cleaner, the epoxy should hold the parts during the delay time. That's their job basically. We ran reflow first pass, glue parts, then wave solder second pass. There were potential delays between adhesive b

We currently screen print glue for our bottom side components. We are looking to get the bottom side of one our boards screened with a solder resist (to cover mounting holes, etc, for the wave-soldering process). This would create an uneven surface

Hello to everyone, Have you ever experienced soldermask bubbles inmediately after printed the soldermask itself? (for screen printing method of LPISM). I am not talking here about blistering or any outgassing defects after exposing to high temperatu

We currently use the Loctite system of Glue/stencils and are getting very good results. You may still have a height problem is you solder resist is too thick. The UK sales person is Bob.goss@loctite-europe.com & he may give you more help. The only ot

Clint, You may want to call KJ Marketing Services, a Canadian company that fabricates plastic laser cut stencil. They call it "Kepoch stencil" This material was originally developed by Dupont, and patented and marketed by KJ. It was available for

Simple differences. Both processes require a very similar machine platform, controlled motion, vision fiducial recognition and alignment of a substrate (PCB or hybrid ceramic) to the "image", the image being either a stencil (hence stencil printing)

Jean, A lot depends on your process. can you add a dot of adhesive after screen printing and before placement? This works well for larger heavier parts. A second suggeestion is to reprofile your board. Try keeping the bottom side cooler. I do t
