Good point [engguy], and another thing; if you are using 1.3mm nozzle on a feeder that has a shutter opening of 1.0mm = problem. You could even damage the nozzle. So the main questions remain....

We have found that the lenses on the Rebels have are gooey and sticky. We put a little bit of WD40 on the shutter part that contacts the lens. Just a little bit. Basicly, put a drop on and try to wipe it all off with a paper towel is enough.

Good advises thanks. I'll go thru all nozzles and vacuum check today and tell the programer about PD's and nozzle vs shutter. Should I check at the same time all the vacuum filter ? For the placement test, we use the same feeder at the same position.

You don't say which 265; presumbly since you say "bulb" it is either MK1 or GS with shuttered camera. Both those machines have potentiometers to control light levels. MK1 is on machine frame inside drop down (stencil load) door, near serial tag. GS
