Thanks all for the opinions. Our shuttle/GSM1/PTF install was done by an ex-UIC engineer. Have never utilized shuttle so appreciate the advice on pros and cons of it all. We have 1.0 mil on PTF side and 4.0 on shuttle side. C4 head on both sides

Tyco is the american distibutor for mirae....thats why support directly from mirae is non-existent. If you have a machine you must go through Tyco unless you know someone on the side who knows the equipment.

The 7 spindle Flex jet head, can only pick max 7 comps. from the GSM base machine in a single operation, not from the shuttle. The Flex jet head is faster in z-axis and will also use the OTHC (On The Head Camera) to inspect most of Your smaller comps

Each machine has two feeder tables, one is fixed, the other interchangable. Parts on both sides of the machines does not create a kitting problem but can be inconvenient for feeder replenishment. I have found "U" shaped lines to be much more operator
