Check the timing belt. I have running into a similar situation before. "1 notch of" of the timing belt can cause very strange behaviour of the machine. /Sincerly Ps. let us know your progress. Ds.

We can use cover tape to solve, SMT throwing rate can be reduced to less than 3%.

Just a thought, but check to make sure you dont have a pickup offset in your pd or machine thats causeing your problem.

I've had this problem before. Typically happens when the Lithium Battery dies and the machine loses the program. Usually you can pull the displays out and ship them to Simplematic. They can reload the program for you. Roughly $2500 bucks I think. Cal

You might try checking to see if the float switches are actually lifting up with the water level, I have seen them get stuck in the open position. Also check to see that the solenoid valve is actually sealing off (closed)
