Hello, Sorry for the mistake. The speed is 1m/min. We are using Alpha Vaculoy solder and a conveyor angle about 7º. We are not using pallets since the fingers hold the boards directly. Thanks!

We have an ongoing problem with our QFP144 packages soldering. It has not received much attention until late due to some customer failures. Most of the failures would show up in ESS testing and be repaired. The failure rate is about 2 in 1000 parts f

More on QFP soldering issue as per Paul f original e-mail. 1. Problems occured on different PCB's, on different lines using different equipment 2. Flux residue is common in the dimple on the solder. 3. The fault occurred using both "Kester 265" & "Al

Thanks SuMoTe, I've already tried fluxing various boards (new clean ones and older ones) without turning the waves on and with different temperature setups (within the suggested params from Alpha) in the preheat zone. The results were in many cases

Dave, Thanks for your responce. I think I can manage to solder components by hand. But I am trying to find out an alternative way to solder them. The distance between leads becomes very small and if solder gets in between them I will have hard times
