Is it possible to identify the part# of an SMT diode by the markings on the top of the part. The part(s) are in an SOT23 package. I have 2 parts. The markings are: KZ2 P3 and KJE ON Thanks

It is possible. It is of great help to know the Mfgr. however. Within the Mfgr specs they will give you the part marking.

Pretty much what Russ said, with the addition that going to a major distributor's site (mouser, digikey) and searching for those marking codes might get you where you want to go quickly.

I need to replace a device which is in a 6-pin package which looks like SOT 23-6 / SC-74 style. The markings are D102/ 214B (D102 above 214B). I have checked numerous references to no avail. I think that the device is a comparator or op-amp with V
