Ron, The simplest way to process fexible PCB's that I have found is to use a process carrier fixture. There are companies that manufacture process carriers that are capable of holding flex through stencil, placement and reflow. The carriers are capab

Now that is a BIG step. Stencil type: * A metal squeegee is fine with stepped stencils. * A rubber squeegee is fine with stepped stencils. Comments on step stencil "keepouts" are: * Use an ample space around the stepped down component pads that is

I would try it dry first, we have never used solvents in our SPM, AP-20 or UP2000. Wipe every 4 to 10 boards. Normally dont have to wipe when using epxoy.

I don't think it's a stencil issue. You have an identical inductor next to t=it, that's perfectly straight. You have a problem in that location. I've seen some inductors be affected by slight magnetic forces in the reflow oven. Try to rotate the boar

We have in-house PCB fabrication capability for items such as simple single-sided prototype boards, copper shields and copper stencils for our paint shop. We are having difficulty acquiring small containers of chemicals, especially developer and stri

Hi Ron, Your question really opens up a "Pandora's box", but when you say you're not able to print perfectly, what is it exactly that you mean? Is the print lacking volume? Is it mis-registered? Are you bridging? Also, what printers have you used? Do
