Sudden flux boil will cause splatter. More thorough drying or a slower intial ramp to allow drying to occur before a boil or "splatter" temperature is reached may aid your problem.

If you have another container of flux that is a different batch try that. Dont forget to clear lines of old flux. check spray pattern width. The activators needed may be dead in flux.Since it is sudden my question would be what just changed?

Being its sudden and only 1 product I would suspect the PCB particularly the barrels in the plated through holes being contaminated.

Check your humidity levels there as well. If the airs to dry it would dry out your paste as well. We had to go out and buy some floor humidifiers for our place.

Perhaps I read your question wrong, but I would be more inclined to look for changes in your solder paste, your screen printing process, and your reflow profiles if you're suddenly having problems with more than one component.
