What kind of errors are you getting. make sure that you have the right size fid's and the color is correct in the program. This is the main problem that I run into and it usually corrects the problem. Make sure that it is looking in the right X and Y

Are you sure the anvil is coming up? You might try running a program w/o parts or boards (no continuity check) and watching to see if everything is moving when it should be. Do you use continuity checking? If so, what are the results?

Jeff, You assume too much. Not all VCD's had clinch in sensors. Darron did not tell us what vintage this machine is so what habsfan said could be the problem. We need more information to help. Does the machine stop when it doesn't cut the lead? D
